RIEMER AT WORK
is a compilation derived from
digitised Super8 shortfilms of 1971 to 1982
and some video recordings of various formats
taken between 1973 and 2010 by

REINHARD BOCK / ANGELIK RIEMER†

In 10 parts, it covers all

eight stages of painting

developed by RIEMER between
1971 - 2010.

The silent super8 movies of the 70s and 80s
were digitised to HD.formats.
The 80s and 90s are represented by
digitised video clips of various formats
(miniVHS, video8, miniDV and chipDV).

To all movies and videos
music of boKens is added
(except "FARBENZEIT" running
with BURUNDI BLACKS' MUSIC
sounding in the atelier day and night
in that particular painting phase).

Interviews from March to May 2010 are
wrapping the compilation.
RIEMER reviews her artistic development
and explains "the making of"
in a fresh and congenial way.


This compilation was produced for
a complementary screening during
  RIEMER's solo exhibition
at the temporary gallery of
ROLAND GOCKEL PROJECTS
in the event space of
FREIES MUSEUM BERLIN
Potsdamer Straße, Berlin, Germany in May 2010.

In 2015 it was screened again during the
1st posthumous† exhibition
